Inter-generational and all-Inclusive, Argentine Tango band Tamango takes great pride in welcoming newcomers to tango, including dancers, listeners, families and musicians of all genres and levels! Happening at a travel-friendly hour of 4-8pm, Tamango Milongas are famous for great live tango music, warm hospitality for dancers of all levels, and an encouraging environment for those of you who just want to listen and watch. Led by Tango with Winnie (piano and bandoneon), Tamango features Julia Driscoll & Janice Lee (violin), Tom Lozano & Ayelen Dominguez (voice), Pablo Zavattieri (bass), joined by phenomenal pianists Nathan Cheung, Yoshiko Arahata and Guille Casals. DJ Barron Gillon will tailor the vibe to perfection between live sets; Introductory Tango Dance Class at 4-4:45pm. Bring Food & Drinks to share! Kids have a separate space to mingle if desired. Bring friends of all ages!
