Tango with Winnie Tango History Workshop, Taipei, Taiwan

You’re invited to a 2-day course full of stories and musical anecdotes recounting the history of tango since the beginning: from the 16th century Spanish invasion to the musical contribution of the African slaves, the european immigrants of the 19th century, and those of the Caribbean and indigenous communities.  It will be an evening full of musical examples; dancers are welcome to interpret the moment!  All levels welcome.  No partners necessary.  Wear comfortable clothing.  It will be translate from Spanish to English to mandarin.
