Returning from lots of international travels for the final milonga of the year: Tango with Winnie’s Year-End MILONGA at the Headquarters of Tango with Winnie, Arthur Murray Studio, Bloomington, INDIANA!
Extra festive this milonga: Dance Workshop with the legendary teachers from Louisville, Kentucky, Clay Marshall & Cherie Lanier will give 2 workshops before the live music milonga! This will be a band of at least 7 musicians!!! FULL PLUS ORCHESTRA!!!! We will also celebrate Mark’s Birthday from Indianpolis! Dancers will come from surrounding communities! BOOK YOUR LODGING NOW! (Or write to Winnie if you want to crash at her tango basement lol)
Inter-generational and all-Inclusive, Argentine Tango takes great pride in welcoming newcomers to tango, including dancers, listeners, families and musicians of all genres and levels! Happening at a travel-friendly hour of 4-8pm, Tamango Milongas are famous for great live tango music, warm hospitality for dancers of all levels, and an encouraging environment for those of you who just want to listen and watch. Led by Tango with Winnie (piano and bandoneon), Tamango features Julia Driscoll & Janice Lee (violin), Ayelen Dominguez (voice), Pablo Zavattieri (bass), joined by phenomenal pianists Claire Gilbert & Yoshiko Arahata. DJ Barron Gillon will tailor the vibe to perfection between live sets; Introductory Tango Dance Workshop 3pm to 4pm; intermediate level 4-5:15pm. Bring Food & Drinks to share! Kids have a separate space to mingle if desired. Bring friends of all ages!

Workshop admission — honor system. We will not leave you outside for not having money. Suggested contribution for workshop: $25/per person to cover costs for our beautfiul instructors
